Chassis Wiring Harness Manufacturer & Supplier

Chassis Wiring Harness Overview

The chassis wiring harness functions as the electrical central nervous system of a vehicle chassis, carrying power and signal connections through the four core modules of chassis transmission, driving, braking, and steering. Because these runs pass close to heat sources, moving parts, and road spray, the harness must be engineered for mechanical durability and environmental resistance rather than treated as a simple bundle of wires.

Dongguan Songyuan Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures chassis wiring harnesses at our own factory in Dongguan, China. Founded in 2017, we operate a 2,000 sqm facility with 60 employees across four zones: a harness production workshop, a drawing and extrusion workshop, a quality inspection area, and a warehousing and shipping area. Our annual revenue is approximately 20 million CNY, with average annual sales growth of about 20%. We manufacture and sell electronic wires, new energy storage wires, shielded power cables, ribbon cables, color ribbon cables, and wire harnesses for consumer electronics, industrial control, medical, energy storage, new energy, and hydrogen energy applications, as well as military-grade cable assemblies.

Based in Dongguan, we supply wire harness solutions to customers across Southeast Asia. We exhibited at NCH2025, the Shanghai International New Energy Connector and Wire Harness Processing Technology Exhibition.

Key Features

Strong resistance to harsh environments. The chassis harness is built to keep functioning through vibration, temperature swings, moisture, and mechanical abrasion. Material selection is matched to the actual routing position on the chassis.

Conductor selection by routing zone. The main body of the harness uses tinned copper wire. Critical areas, such as runs near the exhaust pipe and braking system, use high and low temperature resistant XLPE cross-linked polyethylene wire. Some high-temperature sections are upgraded to PTFE Teflon wire.

Waterproof and sealed connectors. Connectors are specified as waterproof and sealed, with a uniform protection level of IP67 or higher. Some critical parts use IP69K-level high-pressure cleaning protection connectors for areas exposed to washdown or high-pressure cleaning.

Double-layer protective structure. The harness uses a double-layer construction: an inner layer wrapped in flame-retardant corrugated tubing, and an outer layer supplemented with wear-resistant braided tubing. This combination provides abrasion protection while maintaining flame-retardant performance.

Automotive-grade fixing components. Routing is secured with automotive-grade nylon cable ties, sheet metal clips, rubber eyelets, and similar hardware, keeping the harness in position and away from sharp edges and moving parts.

Applications

Chassis wiring harnesses from WireHarnessMaker are used wherever a chassis requires reliable electrical distribution across transmission, driving, braking, and steering modules. Typical deployment includes automotive chassis systems and other vehicle platforms that need sealed connectors and abrasion-resistant routing.

Beyond automotive chassis programs, our harness manufacturing capability supports related product lines such as automotive wiring harness assemblies and engine wiring harness builds, along with harnesses for industrial control, energy storage, new energy, hydrogen energy, consumer electronics, medical equipment, and military-grade cable assemblies.

If your project involves high-temperature zones near exhaust or braking components, or areas cleaned with high-pressure water, tell us during the inquiry so the conductor and connector selection can be matched to those conditions.

Customization & Ordering

Every chassis harness we produce is built to customer drawings or a jointly defined specification. Customization covers conductor type, connector selection and sealing level, protective tubing and braiding, fixing hardware, branch layout, and labeling.

For scheduling, prototyping for standard specifications is stated at 48 hours. Order quantities are flexible: prototype runs can start from 100 pcs, and volume production from 1,000 pcs. Mass production of harnesses of this type generally takes 15–25 days from order confirmation; the exact schedule is confirmed with each quote, against the final drawing and quantity.

Our factory structure — drawing and extrusion, harness production, quality inspection, and warehousing and shipping under one roof — supports consistent process control from raw wire through finished assembly. Certificates available upon request.

To move forward, send your drawing, connector list, quantity, and target schedule. Our team will review the specification and respond with a quotation.
