Servo Motor Power Cable Manufacturer & Supplier
Servo Motor Power Cable Overview
A servo motor power cable is the power transmission artery between the servo motor and the servo driver. Its core job is to carry the three-phase AC (or DC) power that the motor needs to run, which makes conductor sizing, sheath choice and termination quality decisive for the stability of an entire motion axis. An undersized conductor or a poor crimp shows up quickly as torque loss, heat build-up or an intermittent drive alarm.
Dongguan Songyuan Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures custom servo motor power cables at our own 2,000 m² factory in Houjie Town, Dongguan City. Founded in 2017 and staffed by around 60 people, we produce electronic wires, shielded power cables, ribbon cables and wire harnesses for industrial control, consumer electronics, energy storage, new energy and hydrogen energy applications, along with military-grade cable assemblies. Servo power cable assemblies sit inside our industrial control range — browse the full industrial control wire harnesses category for related builds.
Every assembly is made to the customer's motor power, motor–driver installation spacing, connector interface and routing environment. You specify the conductor cross-section, sheath material, connector type and accessories; we cut, crimp, assemble and inspect to your drawing. You can also review our company profile on the homepage before sending drawings.
Key Features
- Seven conductor cross-sections — 1.0 mm², 1.5 mm², 2.5 mm², 4 mm², 6 mm², 10 mm² and 16 mm², covering everything from compact servo axes to high-power drives.
- Motor power selection guide — 1.0–1.5 mm² for 0.1–0.75 kW motors; 2.5–4 mm² for 1.5–5 kW motors; 10–16 mm² for 10–30 kW motors.
- Four sheath families — PUR for moving scenarios, XLPE for high-temperature environments, oil-resistant PVC for general industrial environments, and armored sheath for heavy-protection requirements.
- Three termination routes — MS3108A and M23 aviation connectors, OT/UT crimp terminals, and quick connectors.
- Aviation connector with foolproof design and locking mechanism — preferred for industrial equipment where vibration and accidental disconnection are real risks.
- Crimp terminal option for fixed installation — a practical choice when the motor and driver ports stay static.
- Distance-aware engineering — conductor size is matched to the motor–driver installation spacing, with thicker conductors recommended for long distances (over 5 m).
- Accessory ecosystem — insulating sleeves, fixing clips, connector dust caps and shield clamps improve installation stability and protective performance.

Applications
Servo motor power cables are used wherever a servo motor must be fed reliably from its driver. Typical installations include industrial equipment with aviation connectors, fixed cabinets and machine frames using crimp terminals, and machines with moving axes where a PUR sheath keeps the cable flexible in motion. Where ambient heat is the main concern, XLPE sheathing is the usual selection, and where mechanical abuse is expected, an armored sheath adds heavy protection.
Because the cable is only one half of a working axis, most customers order it together with the drive-side signal harness. Our Mitsubishi CN1 servo driver control line is commonly quoted alongside this power cable so that power and control connections match in length, connector style and routing. Whether the end product is an industrial control cabinet, a piece of automation equipment or a motion axis being retrofitted, the same rules apply: correct conductor size, correct sheath, correct termination.
Customization & Ordering
Every servo motor power cable we supply is built to order. Send us the motor power rating, the motor–driver installation spacing or required cable length, the connector interface on both ends, and the routing environment (fixed, moving, high-temperature or heavy-protection). From there we confirm the conductor cross-section, sheath material, connector type and accessory set, then prepare a drawing and quotation for approval.
Lead times. Prototyping lead time is 48 hours for standard specifications. Custom orders that involve special connectors, armored sheath or large conductor cross-sections require confirmation before a prototype date is fixed, since these items depend on material and tooling availability. Order quantities are flexible — prototype runs from 100 pcs, and volume production from 1,000 pcs. Mass production typically ships in 15–25 days after sample approval.
What to include in your enquiry. Motor power rating in kW, cable length or installation spacing, conductor size if already fixed, sheath preference, connector types for motor and driver ends, accessory requirements, expected annual quantity, and any labeling or packing instructions. Drawings, photos of the existing cable, or a sample sent to our factory all work as starting points.
Quality and documentation. Assemblies are produced in our wire harness workshop and checked in our dedicated inspection area before packing in the warehouse and shipping area. Certificates available upon request.
