Camera Link Data Cable for Industrial Cameras Manufacturer & Supplier
Camera Link Data Cable Overview
The Camera Link data acquisition card cable for industrial cameras is a high-definition data transmission harness engineered specifically for industrial cameras and Camera Link capture cards. Its primary task is the high-speed transmission of the high-resolution images and video data captured by industrial cameras, moving that data from the camera head to the frame grabber so inspection, measurement and vision algorithms receive a clean and uninterrupted stream.
Dongguan Songyuan Technology Co., Ltd. builds this assembly in its own 2,000 sqm factory in Houjie Town, Dongguan, where a dedicated wire harness workshop, wire drawing and extrusion lines, a quality inspection area and a warehouse and shipping area cover the process from conductor to packed carton. Around 60 employees support production for industrial control, consumer electronics, energy storage, new energy and hydrogen energy applications, as well as military-grade cable assemblies. This Camera Link harness belongs to our industrial equipment wiring program, where camera data links are specified alongside power and control lines for the same machine.
Key Features
- Full protocol coverage. Camera Link Base, Medium, Full and Deca configurations are available. Base suits standard-resolution cameras, while Full and Deca are selected for high-resolution and high-speed cameras.
- Core count matched to protocol. Core count is selected by protocol: 12-core for Base, 24-core for Full and 32-core for Deca, using 26AWG–30AWG conductors across the 12-core to 32-core range.
- Three jacket options. PUR, industrial-grade PVC and oil-resistant special PVC. PUR offers optimal wear and flex resistance for moving mechanisms, while the oil-resistant type is suitable for oily mechanical processing environments.
- Double-layer shielding. A double-layer shield is preferred for high-interference environments, for example cable runs routed near inverters.
- Interface matching. Connector ends are matched to the camera and frame grabber interfaces, with mini-SDR selected for compact equipment.
- Customization dimension. Length, connector type, protocol and jacket are all open to configuration, so one harness family can serve several camera models on the same line.

Applications
- Industrial camera to capture card data links in machine vision and automated inspection systems
- High-resolution, high-speed imaging lines running Full or Deca protocol
- Standard-resolution camera installations running Base protocol
- Moving mechanisms where PUR jacketing is chosen for wear and flex resistance
- Oily mechanical processing environments where oil-resistant special PVC is required
- High-interference cabinets and panels, such as routing near inverters, protected by double-layer shielding
- Compact equipment where a mini-SDR interface is needed
For complete machine builds, pair this Camera Link harness with the wider industrial equipment and server wiring harness range, and with our USB data cable assemblies where a different data interface is used elsewhere on the same machine.
Customization & Ordering
Because camera data links are rarely off-the-shelf items, most orders start from a drawing or a sample. Custom orders with special protocols, long distances or custom connectors require confirmation before production begins, so please share your camera model, frame grabber interface and cable routing conditions with our engineering team.
Prototyping lead time is 48 hours for standard specifications. Order quantities are flexible — prototype runs from 100 pcs, volume production from 1,000 pcs — and mass production typically ships in 15-25 days. Certificates available upon request.
Whether you are replacing a single cable on an existing vision cell or specifying the harness set for a new machine platform, send us your requirements and we will confirm the protocol, core count, jacket and shield construction that fits your application.
